A new kind of roadblock (Week 10 of Student teaching)
When I say this week did not go as planned I really mean this week did. not go as planned... However the week started off like a normal week. On Monday, I gave the students time to work on their posters. During second period, we worked on getting the plant sale signs ready. In fourth period, I started something new! I started working on Common shop tools with them. I was kind of hesitant on how this was going to go because tools can be quite boring but it actually went quite well. Tuesday is when things started to not go as planned. I originally planned on going to districts with Mr. Sturgis and our students but we were informed that only one advisor was approved to attend. So I used the time to take the last Praxis I needed to graduate. After taking the test, I got my second dose of the COVID vaccine. I was hoping not to have a reaction to the shot but unfortunately that wasn't possible. In fact, I actually had a quite severe reaction. I had a fever Wednesday and Thursday alon
